The Members of Lansing, Michigan Chapter, Chapter 177, of the National Association of Women in Construction, or NAWIC welcome you to our site. The purpose of our site is to provide information to our members and prospective members about the local chapter of NAWIC.
The Lansing Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction ("NAWIC") was chartered on February 20, 1971 by 27 Lansing women working in the construction industry. Since that date, the Lansing Chapter has continuously promoted women in construction by providing educational programs and networking opportunities for every aspect of the industry.
In addition to our monthly meetings, our Chapter awards scholarships to local students who are pursuing a career in the construction industry. We also provide educational programs directed toward children and teens to raise awareness of opportunities for careers in construction.
